Question 1

If I was the boy schatz, I would had been really scared, because he didnt know the difference
that the French use Centigrade while Americans use Fahrenheit. At one point the boy asks, "About how long will it be fore I die?" . If they tell me that nobody would survive a fever of 44 degress, obviously he was bound to die from a 102. These are misunderastanding that happens every day. I Think the father needed to have some more communication with the Schatz about the fever, he needed to explain what the difference was instead of leaving him in bed and just go out.

  1. I totaly agree with you
i also would like to comment on you last sentence because i think at the time the father did not know what was going on in schatz and so the father could not have know what is going on in schatz head
i think both of the father and the son need to be more open minded to each other i think that would probably take away some of the misunderstanding ^_^
ps dont mind me i have no idea what i am saying im just commenting just to get the grade lol just playing =P

  2. Yes, I agree with you too. It seems like the communication between the boy and his father was very superficial (shallow-- not deep). The father could have shown the boy more warmth and caring.
