A Day`s Wait
When I read the story, I had strange felt, the story seemed there was not any warm feeling between son and father, they just tolerated each other. The father did not care about his son because he thought there was nothing to worry that his son is sick,and his son understood his father feeling, and he did not want to see his father, he tired from staying in bed, and he was bored and suffering from his fever and the pain he was feeling in his body.At least, father attitude was very cold about his son.

I agree with you statements about the boy and his father and their lack of warmth or closeness. It made me sad to think of a father and son not being close to each other. Your insights are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteyou may be right but men in general do not tend to share their feeling with each other we just keep it to ourselfs. thus i think it was just missunderstanding between those two misscommunication that's it.
ReplyDeleteyeah i agree with andriy's comment i mean my parents wouldnt be that worry about me or my brother just because of a fever i mean a fever is normal i think the son should of ask to make sure of the situation instead of keeping things to himself and yeah its true that men tend to keep things to themselves i think the story would have been a lot different if schatz is a girl or schatz with his mom instead of his dad you know what i mean ^_^
