Women

In two stories All Summer in a Day and The Lottery, they had the dark color went through stories. All people were so sad when they were waiting for rain or waiting for the lottery, but all of them didn't want to speak up because that was a unique social agreement. In two sorry, the conflict had put on women who were weak. Women were victims in two stories.

    Well not nessecary females are weak it just happen to be that they had a tough situation face them.

    Yes, these were both sad stories that had female charactars who were being victimized. However, I agree with Andriy that these female characters were not necessarily weak. They were just dealing with difficult situations.
